Great emphasis was placed on ecological sustainability in the choice of materials and energy sources: The building is primarily constructed with a self-supporting timber structure, featuring a slate facade, slate flooring, and interior cladding made of larch wood.

The heating system features a modern geothermal heat pump that operates efficiently and environmentally friendly. All electricity consumed comes exclusively from renewable hydropower, making the energy use climate-friendly.
